Nissan have completely redesigned the Maxima for 2009 with a sleek new exterior and a more modern interior. This new version still maintains the trademark stylish, sporty look and feel and comfortable luxury features that Maxima owners have come to expect.

The Maxima is offered in two trims: 3.5 S and 3.5 SV. The 3.5-liter V6 engine now features 290-hp. All that power is fed to the front wheels via a continuously variable automatic (CVT) transmission with traction control. Standard safety fare includes; dual-stage front air bags, front-seat side-impact air bags, curtain side-impact air bags for front and rear outboard occupants, front-seat active head restraints, and a tire-pressure monitor.

Resale Value for the 2009 Nissan Maxima

When considering the purchase of a new vehicle, it's important to keep in mind what the eventual resale value will be. It is expected that the 2009 Nissan Maxima will have a very good resale value. This assumes that after 3 to of 5 years of ownership the vehicle will be in good condition. Other factors include the optional equipment you choose and the total mileage on your vehicle.
