The Honda Ridgeline is an innovative full-size pickup truck. It features a unique design that includes the exclusive In-Bed Trunk, a locking compartment under the rear cargo bed floor that provides hidden, secure storage.

The four-door, five-passenger Ridgeline is available in three trim levels: RT, RTS and RTL. All are powered by a 250-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission; Honda's Variable Torque Management four-wheel drive system (VTM-4) and a limited-slip lockable rear differential are also standard. New for 2009, a trailer hitch is standard on all trim levels, rated for a maximum towing capacity of 5000 pounds. Standard safety features include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, front side-impact airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags and a tire pressure monitor; active front head restraints and daytime running lamps are new for 2009.

For 2009, the Honda Ridgeline gets more power (250 hp vs. 247 hp in 2008), revised exterior and interior styling, and additional standard equipment. All audio systems are now MP3/WMA compatible, and RTL models get a handy 115-volt AC outlet. New optional features include Bluetooth HandsFreeLink wireless connectivity and a rearview camera (available on RTL models equipped with the navigation system). The RTX trim is dropped from the lineup this year.

Resale Value for the 2009 Honda Ridgeline

When considering the purchase of a 2009 Honda Ridgeline, it's important to keep in mind what the eventual resale value will be. This can be ascertained from looking at the selling price of prior year versions of the 2009 Honda Ridgeline, if it's not a brand new model. Keep in mind that resale value is dependent on the condition of the automobile when it is sold, as well as optional equipment and the total number of miles accumulated.
